Wild Cards Put Wild and Cards Back in Wild Card Weekend

Congratulations to the ArizonaStLouisChicagoCardinals for winning one ofthe wildest wildcard games in a weekend which, up until then, had been a not so wild card weekend. Didn't the game remind you of the old AFL? And congratulations to the "Same Old" NY Jets, and the Baltimore Ravens--a team I prefer to refer to as the Cleveland Browns East. Even you, Cowboys.

And speaking of jets, I am in Florida at the moment where, thanks to the current cold snap, you can get your frozen orange juice still on the tree. We came down, speaking of jets, on Jet Blue and it was so cold ther was no question how the jet got blue--they left it out at night. We had a bad experience with them once, and at at the time I thought Jet Blue was the past tense of Jet Blows.

On TV today they keep showing three different ads for hot wings KFC, Wendys and a local joint. When did hot wings become the next big thing? Do you think a neat name for a wings joint would be "My Wing Man?"

It is difficult to diet on vacation. So I had an idea. Instead of actually reducing my calorie intake, I will sign up some poor third world people with marginally adequate caloric intake and buy calorie offset credits from them. The problem may be that they will then have enough money to buy food, and I'll have to go find other people with whom to do the swap.
